This itinerary covers the area from Abu Nuhas, known as “Ships Graveyard”, the resting ground of some of the most beautiful historic wrecks in the world like the Giannis D, Chrisoula K; the Straits of Tiran with its famous Jackson, Woodhouse, Thomas and Gordon reefs, strong currents and abundance of soft and hard corals making it the ideal home to incredible numbers of reef fish, schools of pelagics, dolphins and sharks; lush Ras Mohamed National Marine Park with many jewels in its crown like Shark Reef and Yolanda Reef and Shark Observatory with plenty of whitetip reef sharks and huge barracudas as well as clowds of reef fish, and multiple macro critters; and finally the Gulf of Suez including the famous World War II wreck “SS Thistlegorm” and of course dolphins.
