Hermanos - Daedalus - Elphinstone

El itinerario BDE cubre los mejores y mejores sitios de buceo de los parques marinos del Mar Rojo. Desechos famosos, paredes escarpadas cubiertas de corales blandos y duros, bosques de corales de fanáticos, colonias de anémonas, cardúmenes de pelágicos que cruzan en azul, tiburones de arrecife, tiburones rastreros, escuelas de cabezas de martillo, vainas de delfines, mantas, rayas y tiburones ballena atraen a los buceadores de todo el mundo.

La Isla del Gran Hermano

La isla del Gran Hermano, bañada por fuertes corrientes ricas en nutrientes, se caracteriza por la combinación de grandes muros de corales blandos, una espectacular diversidad de peces, escuelas de pelágicos, mantas alucinantes, diferentes tipos de tiburones y dos naufragios icónicos: Numidia y Aida en excelentes condiciones con corales suaves de color púrpura y corales duros e inundados de Borgoña y rayas blancas del mar Rojo anthias, lionfish y moray, acostumbrado a fuertes corrientes, refugio en el interior. La meseta del sur es un punto de acceso para los tiburones zorzales.

Daedalus Reef

Daedalus Reef features pristine hard and soft corals and an amazing marine life. Here you will meet curious Oceanic Whitetip Sharks, Schooling Hammerhead Sharks, Grey Reef Sharks, Tresher Sharks. The drift dives along amazing deep walls covered by superb corals will let you observe numerous pelagic fishes: Giant Trevally, Dogtooth Tuna, Manta Rays. This dive site is one of the most impressive in the Egyptian Red Sea.

Elphinstone Reef

Elphinstone, una gran franja de arrecife de unos 180 m de largo, es siempre una inmersión excelente. Rica en corales y peces, atrayendo el interés de manadas de delfines, barracudas y tiburones oceánicos de punta blanca, mantas, tiburones ballena y trevallies gigantes, Elphinstone es uno de los destinos de buceo más emocionantes del mundo.

Aida wreck

Aida - Egyptian 75m military ship sank in 1957 when trying to moor to the island during the storm. The ship hit the western tip of the reef, broke in two parts and sank quickly. All 140 people on board were rescued by another ship.
Nowadays the main body of Aida rests on a steep slope at depths of 30-68m. Smaller sectors of the ship became parts of the reef covered with sponges and corals.

Numidia wreck

Numidia, a new English 137m cargo ship was going to Calcutta with 7000t cargo in September 1901. The ship hit the Big Brother island directly under the lighthouse and sank. After several hours of trials to save the ship, the captain gave the order to evacuate the crew. The remains of the ship and the cargo are nowadays scattered in a wide range of depths, from 7m to 78m. The locomotive wheels, overgrown with soft corals adorn the upper part of the ship wreck.

Isla Hermanito

La isla Hermanito, con su magnífico bosque gorgónico, la ciudad de anémonas y sus exuberantes muros de coral, es famosa por su diversidad de especies: morrays, tiburones de arrecife, tiburones oceánicos, tiburones trillados, tiburones sedosos, Napoleons, unicornfish de lengua negra y orangespine, pufferfish, barracudas , rayos, pulpos, nubes de peces de arrecife de colores de arrecife.
